Purpose of recruitment is to get teacher with quality, commitment and as according to culture Aqila. Spreading of recruitment information is done through advertisement in “Tarbawi” magazine, advertisement in “Lowongan Kerja” newspaper and Posting in Mailing List.

Recruitment phases :

• Psychology Test
• Observation

We also tries to execute recruitment cooperates with a few campus ( UIN, UI, etc) to recruit student which competence and readies joining forces with Aqila.

Purpose of competition is to increase practical ability and student self confidence and as one of measuring instrument success of training. Competition performed to be internal of mosque, between mosques or attends public competition.

Competition & Performance, which we implemented :

1. Muharam Performance, 1427 H in ISEC and BEC (internal of mosque)
2. Ramadhan Competition 1427 H in ISEC and BEC (internal of mosque and between mosques)
3. Quicky Macky Quiz Competition, carried out by Nurul Fikri English Course in Masjid Istiqlal (public competition)

Teachers Training

She is a Great Teacher in the Faculty of Law, University of Indonesia. Her participation in Aqila shows her concern and her love to education’s world, besides teaching in university and help student who doesn’t come from a wealthy family. She is now Board of Supervisor and Permanent Donor in Aqila.

He is known as Mr. Demi. Graduated from University of Indonesia majoring economy. He is the man who gives idea to change ordinary English course in Masjid Al-Anwar become Aqila Foundation. So, this incredible program can be spread out to other Masjids. He is ketua umum Aqila Foundation.

Mr. Ceisar, that is his childhood name. He started to love Masjid since he became a teacher in English course at Masjid Al-Anwar. Graduated from STBA Pertiwi majoring English literature. Before he joins Aqila, he taught in BBC for a certain time. In Aqila, he has ever been a ketua umum (First period). Now, he doesn’t involve in committee since he moved.

Ms. Fari, one of founders which noted on establishment act. Join since 2003 and has ever been a general treasurer (first period). Now, she is non-active from committee since she moved.

Join since 2003. Ms. Wina, who now is the general secretary, has experienced in education world. Her position as a international program coordinator at Jakarta Islamic School gives her opportunity to participate in overseas trainings. Her strength will always decorates her unique personality.

Join since 2006. She works at Oil and Gas Contractor Company. Ms. Teti is now general treasurer in Aqila. Besides that, she is also works as a teacher, a fund raiser personnel and finance officer.

Mr. Andy, Aqila’s reliable interviewer and recruiter. This man, who graduated from the faculty of literature University of Indonesia, has been joining Aqila since 2004. He works at PPM. His position in Aqila is recruitment coordinator. His dedication and contribution are incredible for Aqila’s programs.

Mr. Alfa, Aqila’s trainer and psychology assessor. As a psychologist graduated from University of Indonesia, Mr. Alfa gives many advices as a consultant to Aqila. His position is training coordinator.

Aqila Institution and Aqila Program

Now institute under wings of Yayasan Aqila is Aqila English Centre. Planned next year is formed two new institute that is :

1. Markaz Aqila Lil Arabia, The Institute of center arab language courses with concept similar to Aqila English Centre.
2. The Institute of  Aqila private English courses, The Institute of self-supporting business to add source of institution fund.

Program

1. Curriculum and Teaching of English Language

We have four English language courses program :

A. STARTER PROGRAM

Consisted of 2 level and addressed for student is having age 9 years old or equivalent with class 3 Elementary School student. Book applied is EXCELLENT! for STARTER derivative Longman

B. KIDS PROGRAM

Consisted of 6 level and addressed for student is having age 10 - 12 years old or equivalent with class 4 - 6 Elementary School student. Book applied is EXCELLENT! for KIDS derivative by Longman

C. TEENS PROGRAM

Consisted of 8 level ( 4 level elementary and 4 level intermediate) and addressed for student is having age 13 - 15 years old or equivalent with Junior High School student. Book applied is WORLD CLUB derivative by Longman

D. GENERAL ENGLISH PROGRAM

Consisted of 16 level ( 5 level elementary, 6 level intermediate and 5 level advance) and addressed for student is having age to 16 years or equivalent Senior High School Student and public. Book applied is CUTTING EDGE derivative by Longman

Courses is performed in nocturnal mosque at 20:00 - 21:00 WIB, 2 times in one weeks during 28 times meeting (± 3 ½ month).

Every program and the level is having each teaching guidance as target of curriculum and standardization is including for routine test schedule and final test.

Note :

1.  Student is worn monthly “infaq” around Rp. 5000,- to 10000,- per month.

2.  Instructor consisted of by volunteers is given transportation fund Rp. 10000,- per meeting.

Two things is upper specified as commitment for student and also instructor ( volunteers). The execution is accommodated directly by the side of Mosque.
